The essential experience
The performance upgrade
Two large foils at the jet nozzle and extendable rear wings add lift and keep the SEABOB stable on the surface and underwater. On the F9 S the system is included; on the F9 you can add it as an option.
A digital thumb throttle controls the power without fixed steps. Normal mode is for cruising, Dive mode makes the throttle more sensitive for precise control underwater, and Sport mode releases full power on the surface.

A SEABOB is a premium electric underwater scooter that lets you glide effortlessly across the water's surface and explore beneath it. Powered by an electric jet drive, it moves through the water as you hold the handles, control the power and steer with your body.
SEABOBs are popular water toys for yachts, but they're also ideal for swimming, snorkelling and exploring the underwater world. The latest SEABOB F9 Series includes the F9 and the more powerful F9 S, both designed for an exciting and intuitive experience on the water.
The SEABOB F9 has a manufacturer's list price (MSRP) of €11,477.55 in Germany including 19 % VAT, the F9 S €15,053.50 (CAYAGO price list, September 2026). Options cost extra, for example Battery Capacity Plus €880.60, the Driving Stability System for the F9 €509.32, headlights €323.68 and a special colour €577.15. Our current prices are listed above. The F9 S has more power (3.6 kW instead of 2.6 kW, 84 TP instead of 60 TP thrust) and comes with Battery Capacity Plus and the Driving Stability System as standard. The F9 is the lighter model at 22.9 kg, against 25.9 kg for the F9 S. Both share the same hull and controls. See the comparison table.
The F9 is the current generation and replaces the F5. It is lighter (22.9 kg against 29 kg for the F5), more compact and charges in 4 hours instead of 8. Power is stepless with Normal, Dive and Sport mode, where the F5 uses 4 to 7 fixed levels depending on the model. Thrust figures use different units (TP for the F9, newtons for the F5), so they cannot be compared directly. We still service F5 models and supply parts.
Ride time for sporty riding is up to 40 minutes for the F9, up to 60 minutes for the F9 with Battery Capacity Plus and up to 50 minutes for the F9 S. Standard charging takes 4 hours for the F9 and 6 hours with the larger battery. With the F9 Quick Charger it takes 1 hour or 1.5 hours.
CAYAGO does not publish a top speed for the F9 series; it states power and thrust instead (F9: 2.6 kW and 60 TP, F9 S: 3.6 kW and 84 TP). For reference, the previous F5 S was rated at 20 km/h on the surface and 18 km/h underwater.
The SEABOB F9 and F9 S have an automatic depth cut-off at 3 m. The electronics are rated to 25 m.
The F9 weighs 22.9 kg (24.8 kg with Battery Capacity Plus) and the F9 S 25.9 kg. Both measure 1,023 × 526 × 343 mm. For storage on board there is a SEABOB rack, a lifting dock, a bag and a cover; see accessories.
